Innocence

So the three of them sat there. A bird flies by, and the elder asks, 'which animal would you choose to be?'

The middle one says, 'A tiger.'

The younger one asks, 'why?'

'A tiger represents power and control. With that you can do almost anything.'

'It sounds scary; and complicated. I want to be a bird. To be free.'

The elder then responds to the both of them, 'if only we were all like children.'

Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18, 1-3
